Description: Sound has been used as a healing practice for thousands of years in every ancient culture of which we know. But why sound? For human beings, sound creates a bridge between the physical and the spiritual. Therefore, it is by no mistake that genetically our bodies come equipped with the most sophisticated means by which to both make and interpret sound. In this class we will explore: What sound is and the vibrational nature of reality How sound and vibration apply to osteopathic medicine The anatomy of the ear - outer, middle and inner The pathway of a sound wave through the human body The physiological and energetic effects of sound on the human body And on life experience Two important sacred musical scales and why they are used in sound healing Sound healing techniques that can be used for self healing and/or with any type healing practice And more....
Tuning Forks *Tuning forks will be the instrument of choice and demonstration for this class. *It is highly recommended that you purchase the tuning forks with the class so that you can begin to use them and get the most out of the experiential/lab sessions. *You do not need them, however. *The tuning forks used in this class are tuned to specific frequencies. You must have these frequencies for the class. *We will use three tuning forks: solar harmonic 256 Hz and 384 Hz, as well as a weighted 128 Hz tuning fork *If you have these you are all set! *f you do want to purchase the tuning forks I will need you to complete registration for the class by October 31st. *Which means you will also get the early bird discount. *Make sure to choose the option on the registration form that includes the tuning forks - they will then be mailed to you. *Shipping is free within the continental USA. *International shipping prices will vary, as well as timing for shipping. *International students should compete registration as soon as possible to ensure they receive the tuning forks before the class date.
